Safety Planning
Sometimes when a victim is in an abusive relationship it is emotionally difficult to think of ways to stay safe and of the danger that might be there. Advocates at the Safe House Alliance are trained to help you review your options, whether you decide to stay in the relationship, are planning to leave or have left already. Your safety is our number one priority. Advocates can help you brainstorm ideas to protect your-self and your children and help you problem solve. If you can’t come to the office, you can access a safety plan here that you can fill out yourself. It may give you some additional ideas to stay safe, although talking to an advocate will help you explore possibilities that you may not think of.
