Who We Served
- 502 survivors received support
- Most were adult women (71%)
- Children made up 19% of those served
- Adult men were 10%
- Survivors ranged across all ages, with most between 26–60 years old
Why They Came to Us
- Domestic violence was the most common reason (over half of adult cases)
- Other needs included elder abuse, stalking, sexual assault, and dating violence
New Survivors
- 208 people were new to IVSHA in 2025
- That’s about 40 new survivors each month
Services Provided
- Nearly 3,900 services were delivered
- On average, each survivor received about 8 services
- Services included advocacy, safety planning, referrals, and support
Emergency & Safety Support
- 50% of survivors needed emergency help
- 101 people were sheltered
- 1,792 nights of shelter were provided
- Emergency help also included:
- Gas and food cards
- Emergency protection and restraining orders
Who Needed Extra Support
- 1 in 4 survivors had a disability
- 1 in 5 survivors experienced homelessness
- Many survivors needed multiple types of assistance
Community & Staff Efforts
- Staff and volunteers provided:
- 478 volunteer hours
- Crisis line support
- Outreach and referrals
- Staff continued training to better serve survivors
