Garden Clean -up Day
The staff and friends of the Safe House Alliance spent Saturday morning cleaning up the Community Garden. The weeds were high in and out of the beds and needed to be pulled. We accomplished a tremendous amount in the few hours we were there thanks to having lots of hands willing to do the work. There is much to be done still, but our efforts paid off and now when you drive past the garden, you can see how lovely and productive it is. So come on down to the community garden.

Fun at the Kids Fair Pet Parade
The Alliance advocates, Pamela and Ashley were on hand to greet children and help them “fill their buckets” with good things. It was windy, and crowds were small, but everyone had a great time!

It was wonderful to run out back and pick a tomato or some fresh herbs to go with whatever the potluck was that week. We could keep an eye on…
