Population Served
Our service statistics are always changing. We serve ALL adult and child survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, stalking, and dating violence. All services are free and confidential. We believe survivors know what will make them safe and we follow their lead. We serve anyone who wants help whether from a “traditional” relationship, or a LGBT or teen relationship, or any other relationship.
- Domestic violence, including stalking, represents 81% of our total population served
- Sexual assault represents 18.3% of our population served
- While our service area lists 93% of its population as white, 16% of survivors served in 2005 were women of color
- The largest portion of minority survivors we work with are Native American
We have advocates placed at the Department of Human Services in Cave Junction and the Josephine County Probation Department. Staff are available to do presentations in schools, at community meetings and on-site for partner organizations throughout Josephine County. Our temporary location is the Illinois Valley Family Coalition at 535 E River Street, Cave Junction OR 97523. Call 541.592.2515 for further information.
