Job Title: Housing Program Coordinator
Pay Range: $17.75 – $25.00 an hour, full time: 40 hours per week

Position Description: Support victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking,
dating violence and sex trafficking in their housing needs so they can become stable and
reach their goals of safety and self sufficienacey. Provide advocacy, crisis intervention,
safety planning, emotional support, resources, and navigating systems for victims to
locate and sustain their housing. Assist victims with goal-setting and conflict resolution.
Provide support and guidance for individuals and families in staying safe. Provide
supportive services and life skills. Collaborate with victims and landlords to ensure
victims can maintain safe housing. Work with victim to develop financial goals and
relationships with partner organizations. Work closely with victim and their advocates
to ensure safety and emotional needs are being met.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Work well independently, as part of a team, and part of a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with those in crisis
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: - Good driving record and valid driver’s license
- Must successfully pass a Criminal Background Check (A criminal history does NOT
automatically disqualify you from the position
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain confidential information concerning the victim and the organization.
- Provide support, empathic listening, goal setting, and assistance navigating systems
and sharing resources to victims. - Accompany victims to appointments, and provide transportation as needed.
- Establish and maintain frequent, positive communication with team members, share
information willingly, and accept and provide feedback in a supportive, non-judgmental
manner. - Understanding of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, stalking, sex
trafficking, and oppression as well as victim response to trauma and/or the willingness
to learn. (The Alliance will provide necessary training - Understanding of legal and civil rights for victims and/or the willingness to learn.
- Work effectively with crisis situations using a trauma-informed approach.
- Maintain accurate data entry for statistical information.
- Participate in on-call crisis line rotation.
- Attend Agency and community trainings and meetings as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned
