Chris Mallette has served as the IVSHA Executive Director since October 2001.  Before joining IVSHA, Mallette worked as project coordinator for the Josephine County DA's office.  She has also acted as a counselor for the Men's Alternatives to Violence and Abuse and as staff to the Women's Crisis Support Team, and authored and administered the $172,913 VOCA demonstration project, which placed a community violence advocate in the Adult and Family Services office.  Mallette has a Bachelors of Science in Sociology/Psychology from Southern Oregon.
