The Alliance advocacy services offer more than just assistance in a crisis. While we are there for those who need emergency services such as shelter or restraining orders, we also have many other resources and referrals that you may not know about.

Trainings / Groups

The Illinois Valley Safe House Alliance is the only organization that provides in-person advocacy services in Cave Junction.

 

Victims/survivors receive direct services including:

  • safety planning
  • assistance obtaining protection orders,
  • benefits and crime victim compensation;
  • accompaniment and/or transportation to court or medical appointments;
  • crisis and follow-up advocacy;
  • emergency shelter,
  • transportation,
  • gas assistance,
  • food, clothing and household items,
  • lock changes or other items that increase safety;
  • referrals to social and legal services
  • support groups.
